Superbowl Sunday calls for one thing. Delicious food. And wayyyy too much of it.
This year’s dish I’ll be contributing to the gluttony is Bacon Pretzel Beer Brownies.
DYING. What’s not to like?
Original recipe found here calls for Peanut Butter M&Ms (YUM) but our hostess today has a nut allergy so I subbed Pretzel M&Ms.
1 box Brownie Mix
4 pieces Bacon
¾ cup Pretzel M&Ms
Start by making your bacon.. I used the toaster oven for easy cleanup. Don’t dump your grease when its done! We’ll be using that.
Measure out your M&Ms and pound those babies. You want the pieces nice and broken for the brownies.
Dump your brownie mix in a medium sized bowl and add the egg and beer.
When the bacon is cooked, drain the bacon grease into a cup. Grease your 8×8 pan with the grease. Next add about 2 tbsp of the grease into the brownie mix.
Add your crushed M&Ms into the brownie mix. Pour into the bacon greased pan.
Finely chop your bacon and sprinkle on top of the brownie mix.
Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes.
